Atascocita and Surrounding Area Parks

Quick Links: Major Parks | Community Parks | Boating & Fishing

The Atascocita area and its neighboring communities of Humble and Kingwood boast a variety of parks, ranging from large nature preserves to neighborhood sports complexes and trails. These parks offer residents numerous opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and enjoying the natural environment also referred to as the "Livable Forest".

Caution: For anyone visiting or moving from out of state, it is of note that alligators do inhabit the area and caution should be used near bodies of water. While they don't typically show aggression toward people, small pets are at higher risk, especially near still, marshy waters. If you witness any aggressive behavior from an alligator, please contact the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department so they can remove the animal. The 24-hour hotline is available at 1-800-792-1112.
